Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: October 24, 2026

Welcome to HarborLine Auto Transport. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, communications, quote requests, and any services arranged through our business. By using our website or requesting transportation services, you acknowledge that you have read these terms. Any binding transportation agreement is also subject to the specific terms provided for your shipment.

1. About Our Services

HarborLine Auto Transport provides information and assistance relating to vehicle transportation, including open car transport, enclosed car transport, door-to-door auto transport, and state-to-state auto transport.

Depending on the arrangement, transportation may be performed by an independent motor carrier. The identity and role of the parties involved, including whether HarborLine Auto Transport acts as a broker, carrier, or another service provider, should be stated in the applicable agreement. Nothing on this website overrides legally required disclosures or applicable transportation regulations.

2. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes may be based on the vehicle’s make and model, dimensions, pickup and delivery locations, route, requested dates, carrier type, and other shipment details.

Unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing, a quote should not be interpreted as a guaranteed final price or a guarantee that a carrier is available. Any changes to the price must be explained and handled according to the applicable agreement and law.

Customers should review the quote carefully and ask about deposits, remaining balances, payment methods, additional charges, and cancellation conditions before booking.

3. Booking and Scheduling

A quote request does not automatically constitute a confirmed booking. A shipment is confirmed only when the applicable booking requirements have been satisfied and the relevant confirmation has been provided.

Pickup and delivery dates or windows may be estimates rather than exact appointments. Weather, traffic, road closures, vehicle accessibility, carrier availability, mechanical issues, and other circumstances can affect schedules.

Customers should provide accurate contact information and remain available for necessary scheduling communications.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about their vehicle, including its condition, dimensions, modifications, operability, and any special loading requirements.

Before pickup, customers should remove personal belongings, secure loose accessories, disclose mechanical problems, and follow the carrier’s preparation instructions. Customers must ensure that the vehicle can legally and safely be transported and that the person releasing or receiving it is authorized to do so.

5. Vehicle Condition and Inspection

The vehicle’s condition should be documented during pickup and delivery using the applicable inspection report or bill of lading.

Customers should inspect the vehicle at both handoffs, retain copies of relevant documents, and promptly report any suspected transportation damage to the responsible party.

Signing an inspection report may have legal or contractual implications. Customers should read the document carefully and record any visible concerns accurately before signing.

6. Insurance and Liability

Insurance coverage depends on the applicable carrier, policy, shipment, and agreement. Customers should request information about applicable cargo insurance, coverage limits, deductibles, exclusions, and the procedure for submitting claims.

HarborLine Auto Transport does not promise that every type of loss or damage will be covered. Liability is determined by applicable law, the parties’ contractual obligations, and the facts of the particular shipment.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation requests must be submitted through the contact method identified in the applicable booking agreement. Any deposit, cancellation charge, refund, or rescheduling condition will be governed by the agreement and applicable law.

Customers should review these conditions before making payment. Nothing in this section is intended to limit a consumer’s rights under applicable law.

8. Website Information

We aim to provide useful and accurate website information. However, descriptions, estimates, availability information, and general transportation guidance may change.

Website content is provided for general informational purposes and does not replace a written quote, signed agreement, carrier instructions, or professional legal advice where appropriate.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may reference third-party services, payment providers, or external websites. These third parties may have their own terms, privacy practices, and policies. We do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of external content we do not control.

10. Website Use and Intellectual Property

Users may not use this website for unlawful activities, submit fraudulent information, interfere with website security, or attempt unauthorized access to its systems.

Unless otherwise stated, website text, branding, graphics, and design elements are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized copying or commercial use may be prohibited.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, HarborLine Auto Transport is not responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances outside its reasonable control or from a user’s unauthorized or improper use of the website.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including applicable consumer rights, statutory obligations, or liability that cannot legally be disclaimed.

12. Privacy

Information submitted through our website is handled according to our Privacy Policy. By submitting information, you acknowledge that the information will be processed as described in that policy, subject to applicable consent requirements and law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions when necessary. Updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Changes to an existing transportation agreement are subject to that agreement and applicable law.

14. Governing Law and Contact

These terms are subject to applicable laws. Any governing-law or dispute-resolution provisions in a specific agreement must be interpreted consistently with mandatory legal requirements.
